Who we are

Jigsaw Piazza (jigsawpiazza.com) is a free online jigsaw puzzle site available in 30 languages. The operator is Hasan Küpçü, Karamürsel, Kocaeli, Türkiye. If you have questions about your data, write to destek@jigsawpiazza.com.

What you can do without an account

You can play any puzzle without signing in. We do not collect personal data from guests, except when you use the "Write to us" form (see Messages below) or when your country is estimated from your browser language.

Signing in

You sign in with a Google account. When you do, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google. We store these to identify your account on our service.

What we store

Your account: name, email address, profile photo, country, and language preference.

Pictures you upload: the picture file, its name or title, whether you set it as public or private, and the country recorded at upload time.

Activity: star ratings (1 to 5) you give to pictures, pictures you save as favorites, and a count of how many times each picture has been played.

Messages: when you use "Write to us," we store the category you chose, the message text, your language and country, the page address you were on, a description of your device and browser, a reference code for the picture involved, the name of any player you reported, and the optional email address guests may provide. We also store our replies to those messages.

What we do not store

Puzzle progress and your sound setting stay in your own browser's local storage. They never reach our servers. We do not store IP addresses. Your IP is used briefly in server memory only to slow down repeated message submissions; it is not written to any database.

Cookies

We use two strictly necessary cookies:

• A sign-in session cookie that keeps you logged in.
• A language choice cookie that remembers your preferred language.

With your consent only, we also load Google Analytics (operated by Google Ireland Ltd and Google LLC), which sets analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_*) to measure visits and which pages are used. We do not store IP addresses, and Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses either. Data may be processed by Google outside your country. Nothing is loaded before you say yes. You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page; saying no does not limit the game in any way.

How your country is estimated

We estimate your country from your browser's language setting or a location header our hosting provider supplies. We do not use IP geolocation and do not store your IP address.

Your uploaded pictures

Public pictures appear in the gallery and can be played by other users. Users from the same country see them first. Your name appears alongside your picture. Private pictures can only be reached through a direct link you share yourself.

Before a picture is made public, a check runs in your own browser. Nothing is sent to an external service for that check.

If three different users report a picture, it is hidden from the gallery until we review it. We may remove pictures and block accounts that break our content rules (see Terms of use).

Automatic translation

Picture names and our replies to messages may be translated automatically using an AI service (Anthropic, Claude API). Only the text is sent, not the picture file itself.

Our hosting provider

The site runs on Hostinger. Hostinger handles the servers and email delivery.

How long we keep your data

• Account data: until you ask us to delete your account.
• Uploaded pictures: until you remove them or we remove them under our content rules.
• Messages: for up to two years.
• Reports and safety records: as long as needed to keep the service safe.

Your rights

Under GDPR and Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, Law No. 6698), you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Delete your data.
• Object to how we use your data.
• Receive your data in a portable format.

You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. In Turkey, that is the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK Kurumu).

Age

Users must be at least 16 years old in the EU and EEA. Users outside the EU and EEA must be at least 13 years old. This service is not for children.

Changes to this policy

If we make significant changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
